We offer casual days as additional days for all children who are enrolled at our Service.

Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks each day that are carefully planned to meet children’s dietary needs and the Australian Dietary Guidelines. All meals are prepared to be healthy and balanced, and we maintain a nut-free environment to keep children with allergies safe. We’re happy to discuss face-to-face any specific dietary requirements or concerns for your child.

We ensure a safe and nurturing environment by maintaining secure facilities, following strict health and safety procedures, and providing close supervision at all times. Our educators build trusting relationships with children, creating a space where they feel comfortable, valued, and supported. We also regularly review and risk-assess our environment to keep it safe, while making sure it’s welcoming and nurturing for every child. We’re always happy to talk face-to-face about how we create a safe and caring atmosphere for your child.

We follow a flexible approach to sleep and rest times, respecting each child’s individual routine and needs. We create a calm and comfortable environment with soft lighting and soothing music to help children rest. For younger children, we follow their home sleep routines as closely as possible. We’re also more than happy to discuss your child’s specific needs face-to-face so you feel confident in how we support their rest times.

When our rooms are full, we maintain a waitlist to ensure families have a fair opportunity for enrolment. Families on the waitlist are contacted in order of their registration as vacancies become available. We’re happy to discuss face-to-face your child’s position on the waitlist and any options or timelines for enrolment.

We use Kinderloop as our main communication platform to keep families updated. Throughout the day, educators share photos, updates, and information about your child’s activities, meals, rest times, and learning experiences. This allows you to stay connected and see your child’s progress in real time. We’re also happy to chat face-to-face at drop-off and pick-up if you’d like more detail or have any questions.

We prepare children for school readiness by supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning experiences. This includes developing independence, communication skills, problem-solving, and early literacy and numeracy in ways that are engaging and age-appropriate. We also work closely with families to ensure each child feels confident and prepared for the transition to school, and we’re happy to discuss face-to-face the specific strategies we use for school readiness.

We understand that separation can sometimes be difficult for children (and parents). Our educators take a calm and nurturing approach, offering comfort, reassurance, and plenty of one-on-one support. We work with families to follow familiar routines and use strategies such as comfort items, distraction through play, and gradual settling. Every child is different, so we adapt our approach to their individual needs, and we’re always happy to discuss strategies face-to-face to support a smooth transition.

We take allergies and medical conditions very seriously. All children with allergies or medical have an individual medical management plan in place, developed with families and their healthcare professionals. Our educators are trained in first aid, anaphylaxis, and asthma management, and we follow strict procedures to prevent exposure to allergens. We also ensure that all staff are aware of each child’s needs and that medications are stored safely and administered as required. We’re always happy to discuss your child’s specific requirements face-to-face to make sure you feel confident in their care.

Our operational hours are 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays.)

We follow the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which guides our curriculum and daily practices. This framework focuses on children’s learning through play, belonging, being, and becoming, and supports their development across all areas. Our educators use the EYLF to plan and reflect on experiences that build on each child’s strengths, interests, and needs. We’re happy to discuss face-to-face how we use the framework to support your child’s individual learning journey.

The safety and security of the children is our top priority. We have secure entry systems, strict sign-in and sign-out procedures, regular head counts, and close supervision at all times. Our educators are trained in first aid and emergency procedures, and the environment is regularly checked to ensure it’s safe and child-friendly. We’d be more than happy to discuss these measures in detail face-to-face so you feel confident about the steps we take to keep children safe.

We recommend packing your child’s bag each day with spare clothes, a water bottle, any comfort items they may need, and any specific items required for their age group (like bottles, or a hat). Every child’s needs are a little different, so we’re always happy to discuss your child’s individual requirements face-to-face to make sure you feel confident about what to bring each day.

Our approach to behaviour guidance is positive, respectful and focused on helping children learn appropriate ways to express themselves. We guide behaviour by role modelling, setting clear and consistent boundaries, and encouraging children to use their words and problem-solving skills. We always take into account each child’s age and stage of development, and we work closely with families to ensure consistency between home and the centre.
